Michael's Baptism

Olivia's cousin Michael was baptized this past weekend, and we were in Boston to witness that special day.  This was Olivia's first plane ride, and she was awesome on the plane.  We had a wonderful time at Dan and Kelly's house, just relaxing and enjoying the time with family.

Culture and Excercise

This weekend was filled with culture and exercise. On Saturday, the Modern Wing of the Chicago Art Museum was opened so we decided to check it out. It was a beautiful day and the perfect time for baka Zina to experience Chicago.
On Sunday, we walked to Lake Michigan in Highland Park and took some pictures of Olivia in the park.

Day in Chicago

We finally had a sunny weekend and we decided to do some fun stuff downtown Chicago. We walked the Magnificent Mile, took a Chicago Architectural Boat Tour, and had lunch with our friends Bruno and Tamara.

On My Feet

The last couple of weeks were full of changes for Olivia. All she wants to do these days is be on her feet. It is quite back breaking for the adults in the house! In her crib, she can pull herself up in the standing position and is very proud when she does it.
She also started going grocery shopping with us.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone!!! Olivia had a good one. We went to church Sunday morning and then had lunch with family and friends. It was delicious.

My First Birthday

Olivia had her first birthday on Sunday.  We had a little party for her with our friends Bruno and Tamara and their family.  Also, Toni, Renata and Stela came by on Thursday to see Olivia before they left for Florida.

Snow again?!?!?!

It snowed today!?!?! So much for warmer weather. Olivia doesn't care much about it though.  As her birthday is approaching, she has been getting lots of birthday gifts from family and friends.  She wants to thank everyone for thinking of her.
