On My Feet

The last couple of weeks were full of changes for Olivia. All she wants to do these days is be on her feet. It is quite back breaking for the adults in the house! In her crib, she can pull herself up in the standing position and is very proud when she does it.
She also started going grocery shopping with us.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone!!! Olivia had a good one. We went to church Sunday morning and then had lunch with family and friends. It was delicious.

My First Birthday

Olivia had her first birthday on Sunday.  We had a little party for her with our friends Bruno and Tamara and their family.  Also, Toni, Renata and Stela came by on Thursday to see Olivia before they left for Florida.

Snow again?!?!?!

It snowed today!?!?! So much for warmer weather. Olivia doesn't care much about it though.  As her birthday is approaching, she has been getting lots of birthday gifts from family and friends.  She wants to thank everyone for thinking of her.

Marica, our au pair

Since baka Zina's time to go home is approaching, it was time for us to start thinking of her replacement.  We decided to bring an au pair from Croatia. We contacted an agency and were fortunate to be matched with Marica Kovac.  Marica is 21 and lives in Vis, an island that is a couple of hours from my hometown, Split.   If everything goes well with her visa, she will be joining us on May 30th.

Finally, warmer weather!!!!

Olivia and baka Zina finally got a chance to walk outside after months of cold and snowy weather.  Olivia loves to be pushed in her stroller.  She also enjoys watching baka make dinner every day.

I went for brunch with Marin, Stela and Renata.  It was yummy!!! I ate jam, avocado, potatoes and bananas.

I got some new kicks, and they taste pretty good too.

All this eating and shopping made me very tired.
